Hello world, indeed. I’ve wanted to start a blog for a while, but haven’t had the energy. I barely have any now, but WordPress was too easy to pass up.
I called the blog Inking because it:
a) means slight indication, or hint
b) sounds like a young “ink” (which doesn’t exist) but is what new writers probably should be called
c) was a literary discussion group at the University of Oxford in England which included Tolkien and C. S. Lewis (actually called Inklings)
I’m a relatively new and definitely struggling author living in the suburbs with a husband, children and a number of obnoxious wild critters. Let’s see what happens, shall we?
